General Introductions of Scream 4
Scream 4 (stylized as SCRE4M) is a 2011 American slasher film and the
fourth installment in the Scream film series. It was directed by Wes
Craven and written by Kevin Williamson, writer of Scream and Scream 2.
It stars an ensemble cast of David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney
Cox, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. Scream 4 was released on April
15, 2011 to mixed reviews. It took in $19.3 million its opening weekend
in the United States and Canada, making it the second-lowest opening
since the first film.
The plot involves Sidney Prescott returning to Woodsboro after ten years
as part of her book tour. As soon as she arrives, Ghostface once again
begins killing students from Woodsboro High, including her younger
cousin's friends. Prescott, Gale Weathers Riley, and Dewey Riley once
again team up to stop the murders, but not before having to learn from a
new generation the "new rules" of surviving horror films.
Originally,
the series was intended to be a trilogy, but after ten years, Bob
Weinstein thought it was the right time for another film. Depending on
the box office, Scream 4 is intended to be the first of a new trilogy.
Williamson had to leave production early due to contractual obligations
and Ehren Kruger (Scream 3) was brought in for re-writes. Campbell,
Arquette and Cox are the only returning cast members from the previous
films and were the first to sign on to the film in September 2009.
Panettiere and Rory Culkin were the first of the new cast to sign on in
May 2010. Ashley Greene was initially the choice of the lead character,
Jill, but the role eventually went to Roberts. Filming took place in and
around Ann Arbor, Michigan in June 2010 to September 2010, with
re-shoots in early 2011.
It's
all about DVD distribution rights. In an earlier news item, I talked
about how the rights to the original trilogy were owned by the new
Miramax holders and not The Weinstein Company/Dimension Films. Although
there is an agreement between the companies to pump out sequels,
distribution rights are being divided.
Miramax has a deal with
Lionsgate Home Entertainment to distribute the first three Scream films.
Meanwhile, The Weinstein Company struck up a partnership with Anchor
Bay to distribution their titles. Scream 4 and any sequel that follows
will be put out on DVD/Blu by Anchor Bay.
This is similar to the
Child's Play/Chucky films where MGM and Universal handle separate titles
in the franchise or even Friday the 13th/Jason which are divided
between Paramount and New Line.

It
is reported that Apple on Friday released iOS 5 Beta 2 for developers,
as discovered by ItsAllTech. The latest beta release brings WiFi sync to
the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. As an ipod user, is it a great a good
news for you?
Earlier today MuscleNerd confirmed that iOS 5 beta 2 can be JailBroken
using the previously released Redsn0w 0.9.8 b1. As the tool is based on
the limera1n exploit, so it is almost impossible for Apple to close it
anytime soon. However, the untethered JailBreak could be an issue in the
coming months. Someone in the hacking community need to find a solution
for it till iOS 5 comes out of beta.
The build number of iOS 5 beta two is listed as 9A5248d. Apple has
released a total of nine separate builds of the beta OS: three for iPad 2
(WiFi-only, GSM, CDMA), one for the original iPad, two for iPhone 4
(GSM, CDMA), one for iPhone 3GS and two for the iPod touch (third and
fourth generation). No other devices will be able to run iOS 5 when its
official release. (Sorry iPhone 3G users).
To use the new wireless syncing features, users must have the newest iOS
5, iTunes 10.5 beta 2, and a Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or OS X Lion.
Users must then connect their device to their Mac with a USB cable for
the the very last time. This will allow them to choose the wireless sync
option. Once that’s done, the USB can be stored safely away.
As we know, when it comes to jailbreak our iDevices, it is necessary for
us to enable recovery mode as well as as an ipod user we have to learn
how to transfer music from ipod to computer.
For the same purpose, we need to find a data cable first, attach it to
the PC/Mac and then follow the instructions on Redsn0w, Pwnage tool or
Sn0wbreeze. With the functionality of syncing our iDevices wirelessly in
the iOS 5 Beta 2, Apple has also enabled the process of recognizing the
device in iTunes into recovery mode without any wires.
It
means that in future we will be able to push all the JailBreaking data
on our device wirelessly. It may also happen that some of the software
such as iFunbox or iPhone browser may work on this principle (root
access). We will rarely attach our iDevice to our computer or netbook.
As Apple is also integrating the OTA (Over The Air) updates in iOS 5,
upgrading your device would be an easiest task, that is, you will not
need to download those heavy firmware files. We will keep you updated
once we get information on more features in iOS 5.0 beta 2.
WiFi Sync
was one of the features toted at Apple’s WWDC event, and allows iOS 5
users to sync, their devices to their iTunes libraries without a
computer. WiFi Sync is automatically activated when the iOS device is
connected to a power source. Apple also released iTunes 10.5 beta 2 and
Apple TV OS 5 beta 2 alongside the iOS 5 beta 2. Stay tuned, we’ll keep
you updated on the latest iOS 5 news and updates.

Introduction of 'True Blood'
True Blood is an American television drama series created and produced
by Alan Ball. It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of
novels by Charlaine Harris, and details the co-existence of vampires and
humans in Bon Temps, a fictional, small town in the state of Louisiana.
The series centers on Sookie Stackhouse (played by actress Anna
Paquin), a telepathic waitress at a bar, who falls in love with vampire
Bill Compton. The show is broadcast on the premium cable network HBO in
the United States. HBO’s “True Blood” rises from the grave of last
year’s uneven season, smarter, spookier and sexier than before.
The first season received critical acclaim and won several awards,
including one Golden Globe and an Emmy. The show's second 12-episode
season had its premiere on June 14, 2009 and the third season on June
13, 2010. On June 21, 2010, HBO renewed True Blood for a fourth season,
set to debut on June 26, 2011.
Today
there is a piece of good news for us is that in anticipation of the
season 4 premiere, they’re giving away 10 copies of True Blood: The
Complete Third Season will be coming into blu-ray. If you are a big fan
of this movie, you can enjoy it on your blu ray dvd player or you can
also rip this movie to your computer’s hard drive by using a blu ray ripper,
which is the perfect tool for converting blu-ray to various video
formats for playback on your Apple TV, Xbox, or mobile digital media
devices. This blue-ray converter converts blu-ray videos to
High-Definition as well as Standard-Definition video files.
The Details of 'True Blood'
"At
the end of season three, Sookie was taken away, as we know, by the
fairy queen," explains Stephen Moyer, who plays vampire Bill Compton in
the HBO series. "And so we know that that's very possibly where she may
be, as without giving much away. And so we may begin the episode with
that."
"Sookie has some adventures in Fairyland," Anna Paquin reveals
playfully about the character she plays. "Sookie has some personal life
adventures. Sookie ends up in danger. Sookie ends up in more danger.
Sookie somehow ends up narrowly escaping getting killed on various
occasions, as usual. You know, it's just an average day in Bon Temps."
The
show is shown in 50 countries worldwide. "You know, it's a really fun
show that, even though it's based in a very specific part of America, I
feel like these sort of ideas that get dealt with are very sort of
universal and thematically interesting on deeper levels," Paquin says.
"It's not just about vampires. There's always a bigger idea at play."
