As an apple’s ipod user, we maybe very familiar with how to transfer music from ipod to computer, how to get music off ipod onto computer etc, but how much do you learn the latest apple’s service iCloud? Do you know how to transfer music from ipad  to ipod with iCloud? Here we can share this topic together.

iCloud (formerly iTools, .Mac and MobileMe) is a cloud computing service  from Apple Inc. announced on June 6, 2011 at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The service allows users to store data such as music files for download to multiple devices such as iPhones, iPods, iPads, and personal computers running Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows on computer servers owned by Apple. It also replaces Apple's MobileMe program, acting as a data syncing center for email, contacts, calendars, bookmark, notes, to-do lists and other data.

iCloud is so much more than a hard drive in the sky. It’s the effortless way to access just about everything on all your devices. iCloud stores your content so it’s always accessible from your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, or PC.* It gives you instant access to your music, apps, latest photos, and more. And it keeps your email, contacts, and calendars up to date across all your devices. No syncing required. No management required. In fact, no anything required. iCloud does it all for you.

Now iCloud is a new released service by Apple which allows you to store your music, photos, books, etc. wirelessly and transfer them among your iOS devices. iCloud will be best suited for usage over iPad due to its broader screen size. iPad is almost a notebook killer and has all smart features that a standard laptop provides to the end users on the go. As the question mentioned at the beginning of this article, many people may wonder how to transfer music from iPad to iPod with iCloud. Now we will teach you exactly how to transfer music from iPad to iPod with iCloud.

Step 1. You may upload your music on iPad by running iTunes Store App on iPad, and then enter your account and password, you will see your music purchased from iTunes. Whatever music you have in your iTunes account can be shared with any device you sync to that account. So, you can share libraries on iPod, iPhone and iPad.

Step 2. Then you can launch iTunes Store App on iPod, you'll see a Purchased button along the bottom row. Tap it.

Step 3. Next you'll see a list of all the music purchased through the iTunes account you're using with your iOS device. You can use the buttons at the top of the list to see All Purchases or just those Not On This Device.

Step 4. Songs available for redownload (i.e., ones not on the device you're currently using) will have the iCloud icon next to them. Songs that are already present on your device will have a grayed-out button that reads "Downloaded" next to them.

If you have done all the steps above, you will be able to enjoy music on your iPod. It is very convenient for us to transfer our purchased contents among our iOS devices without having to buy them again and again. But if your contents are not buying from iTunes store, you may need a iPod Transfer to help you transfer music from iPad to iPod. You may free download it and have a try via the icon below.

Note: This ipod to computer transfer also supports iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, iPad 2 etc. If you have multiple iOS devices, then this is a must-have program for you.
