As
all we know Children's films are all over the place on DVD and Blu-ray
these days, with more and more coming out in the summertime. One of the
first to jump on the theatrical bandwagon for the season was Rio.
On April 15, the Spanish-influenced family friendly movie Rio graced the
theater screens with zeal. Children lined up to see the new animated
movie. “Comical, colorful, wonderfully cast and beautifully animated Rio
is the first Blue Sky movie that could be compared to the best of
Pixar,” wrote Roger Moore of the Orlando Sentinel.
Rio, often promoted as Rio, The movie is a 2011 American 3D
computer-animated musical comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios and
directed by Carlos Saldanha. The title refers to the Brazilian city of
Rio de Janeiro, in which the film is set. The film features the voices
of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez, Jemaine Clement and
Jake T. Austin. The film tells the story of Blu (Eisenberg), a blue
macaw who is taken to Rio de Janeiro to mate with a female. He
eventually falls in love with Jewel (Hathaway), a free spirited macaw,
and together they have to escape from being smuggled by Nigel (Clement),
a cockatoo.
Not many films can say they've had cross-promotional content on the same
level as this one has, with the film's advertising going an interesting
route with their very own Angry Birds game and FarmVille content. Talk
about being in-the-now. That content continues on the Blu-ray iteration
of the release, which will contain exclusive Angry Birds levels that
promise to showcase the characters from the film. If you want to have a
first enjoy it, you can have a dvd copy of this grand film. More choices
for us is to copy dvd on mac if we are a mac user .
The film follows a domesticated Spix Macaw named Blu (Jesse Eisenberg,
The Social Network), living thousands of miles away from his homeland,
Brazil. When his human owner Linda (Leslie Mann, 17 Again) discovers
that he is the last male of his kind, they head south to Rio de Janeiro
to meet the only other female.
“This movie was funny, entertaining and so colorful. It was just as
promising as it has been showed by the commercials, “said Marie Buhl, a
sophomore. “It was so cute. My little sisters and I loved it; this is a
great family movie. Everyone should take their siblings so go see this
movie.” So there you have it, another box office hit from Pixar. Pixar
has already given us the Toy Story trilogy, Cars, The Incredibles, UP,
Ratatouille, and now Rio. What will they come up with next? All we have
to do is just wait and see what will happen.

It is known to all that with today’s high tech’s developing, more and
more advanced digital products have taken up most of our lives.
Especially when we go shopping, we can see more and more people in the
street playing their gadgets such as iphone 4, ipod nano, ipod shuffle
etc.
The iPod touch is a multimedia powerhouse. From its music player
features to movies, accessing the web, and running all kinds of games
and programs from the App Store, it's a terrific mobile device. But all
of that great stuff requires a long-lasting battery. Don’t worry, here
we can share the simple ways to extend our ipod battery life.
Turn on Auto-Brightness to Extend iPod touch Battery Life
The iPod touch's built-in light sensor can be your ally in extending the
battery life of your touch. The when auto-brightness is turned on, the
sensor will automatically adjust the brightness of the screen based on
how much light is nearby. This means that in brighter settings, the
screen will be dimmer, using the ambient light to aid seeing the screen.
In this way, auto-brightness can help extend the life of your battery.
Keep WiFi Off to Extend iPod touch Battery Life
Unlike the iPhone, the iPod touch can only connect to the Internet when
there's an open WiFi hotspot nearby. Because of this, iPod touch users
are less likely to drain their batteries by trying to connect to the web
all the time. Some may keep WiFi turned on at all times in hopes that
an open hotspot will appear, but that's a sure way to drain your battery
life and will only work well in some places. So, unless you're using
WiFi right now, keep it turned off. Find it in Settings -> WiFi.
Do Less-Battery-Intensive Things to Extend iPod touch Battery Life
Not all ways to save battery life involve settings. Some of them involve
the way you use your iPod touch. Things that require it be on for long
periods of time, or use a lot of system resources, suck the most
battery. Of course, some of these things also make the iPod touch the
most fun, like movies and games from the App Store. If you need to
conserve battery, limit your use of battery-intensive apps.
Buy an Extended Life Battery to Extend iPod touch Battery Life
If all else fails, just get more battery. A few accessory makers offer
extended life batteries for the iPod touch (just make sure not to
accidentally buy one designed for the iPhone - they look very similar!).
If you need so much battery life that none of these tips help you
enough, an extended life battery is your best bet. With one, you'll get
days more standby time and many hours more use.
Note: For iPod users, sometimes you may need to transfer iPod songs to your computer, here we recommend ipod to computer transfer tool for you.

your aging VHS copy of Citizen Kane is nearing the end of its very long
life, you don’t have to be disappointed. According to THR, Warner Home
Video is swooping in to the rescue with a Blu-Ray restoration of what is
widely considered the best piece of American film making. If you are
interested in it, you can rip this blu ray movie to your dvd by using a blu ray ripper.
Orson Welles’ ‘Citizen Kane’ – still considered one of the greatest
films ever made – will finally be released on Blu-ray this September.
The masterpiece is fast approaching its 70th birthday and to commemorate
the occasion. Janet Wilson, a Motion Picture Imaging colorist at WB
working on the process said that the operation was “a painstaking,
frame-by-frame” undertaking. With a 119-minute runtime, a little quick
math tells us that over 171,000 frames needed to be restored. Holy
mackerel!
The movie, frequently cited as the best American movie ever made and the
movie chosen by the American Film Institute as the No. 1 film of all
time, was co-written, directed and produced by then 25-year-old Orson
Welles, who also starred in the pic, which told the life of a
controversial publishing tycoon. It was nominated for nine Oscars and
won for best original screenplay. Given that, more and more movie fans
choose to copy blu ray movie to their gadgets such as ipod, iphone etc.
If you are a mac user, you can also rip blu ray to your mac through the
third program blu ray ripper for mac.
Besides this, the film, which tops the American Film Insititute's list
of the greatest films of all time, among other accolades, tells the
story of Charles Foster Kane, who spends a lifetime building a ruthless
media empire hoping to reclaim the lost innocence of his youth. The film
earned Welles the Oscar for Best Screenplay.
The new edition will all the extras from the DVD two-disc special
edition, including the Academy Award-nominated documentary The Battle
Over Citizen Kane, and it will contain RKO 281, the Golden Globe- and
Emmy-winning HBO docudrama movie that chronicled the clash between
William Randolph Hearst and Hollywood and starred Liev Schrieber as
Welles and James Cromwell as Hearst, whose life was the inspiration
behind Kane and who tried to stop the movie from being made.
The 70th anniversary edition will also be released via iTunes, On Demand, VUDU and Amazon Instant Video.
In addition, Warner will release Citizen Kane with iTunes extras and on
demand via cable and satellite providers, as well as for digital
download through online retailers such as iTunes, Vudu and Amazon
Instant Video.
TCM will air Citizen Kane Sunday, Sept. 18, at 8 p.m. to promote the Blu-ray release.

Are you waiting for a grand blu ray movie to watch? Do you want to
make a date with your partner to watch a hd blu ray movie in the theater

believe nothing is impossible for us. Just do it.
As the summer’s first franchise reboot, “X-Men: First Class” failed to
fully invigorate the movie season. But on home video, studios are
redoubling their efforts to find way to breathe new life into older film
series, starting with high-definition upgrades, and continuing with new
extras and extended editions. Take a look at our choices for this
week’s top releases on Blu-ray : Superman.
Along
with Fox’s release last year of its Alien Anthology, The Superman
Motion Picture Anthology (1978-2006) is perhaps the best
Blu-ray box set I’ve yet encountered. Similar (though not identical) to
the DVD set released in 2006, this Warner Bros. effort (in stores this
Tuesday) includes all seven versions of the five films that were
produced over the course of a quarter-century. If you are also a movie
fan, you can rip this blu ray movie to your own home video by using a bluray ripper.
Superman
Anthology (Warner Home Video) – Making audiences believe a man can fly
was Richard Donner’s challenge when he undertook the original “Superman”
in 1978, but some 20-plus years later the only question that remains is
“how good can high-definition make that man flying look?” The answer is
surprisingly satisfying, thanks to transfers which, although some of
them have existed for several years, do a wonderful job of creating a
vivid and authentic comic book world on screen. (This set marks the
debut of the “Superman” theatrical cut as well as “Superman III” and
“IV” on Blu-ray, and all look terrific regardless how bad the latter two
are as movies.) At the same time, this set carries over all of the
extra materials of the 2006 SD set, which means that it comes almost
overstuffed with documentaries, featurettes, interviews, commentaries,
cartoons, and much more.
For my money, Superman (1978) still
remains the best superhero movie ever made, full of humor, heart, and an
iconic performance by Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel. An Oscar
winner for its visual effects, this exciting adventure also contains one
of John Williams’ best scores, a rich screenplay by the heavyweight
team of Mario Puzo (The Godfather), Robert Benton (Bonnie and Clyde),
David Newman (ditto) and Leslie Newman, and terrific performances down
the line, including Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor, Margot Kidder as Lois
Lane and Valerie Perrine as Eve Teschmacher (the last-named making my
teen heart race during the picture’s original run).
Superman II
(1981), in which our hero squares off against three super-foes (Terence
Stamp, Sarah Douglas and Jack O’Halloran), is slam-bang entertainment,
capturing the style of an actual comic book better than just about any
other adaptation that comes to mind. The first movie’s director, Richard
Donner, was famously replaced on this sequel (by Richard Lester) after
ample filming, an occurrence which finally gave way in 2006 to Superman
II: The Richard Donner Cut.

As we know, with today’s high tech’s rapid developing, more and more
novel and advanced things become possible for us. I don’t know whether
are you confused about running out of storage space on your Apple ipod
or iPhone due to the amount of music, videos and photos you have stored?
If you are, then you might like to know about the recently announced
Kingston Wi-Drive, a wireless, battery-powered storage solution designed
exclusively for iOS devices, such as ipod, ipad etc.
The Wi-Drive is pocket-sized and uses flash memory to deliver 16GB and
32GB capacities. Wi-Drive is a wireless, portable flash drive that can
transfer files to three different iOS devices within a 30 foot range. It
definitely takes its design cues and form factor from the iPod touch,
with rounded corners in a glossy case that measures 4.7″ by 2.4″ and
only about 0.3″ thick. Like any USB flash device, the Wi-Drive does not
discriminate between different file formats so you can carry everything
from music, videos to office documents on one device, for example you
can transfer music from ipod to computer
drive as easy as abc. “It’s also a great companion for Windows users on
iPads,” according to its website, “as it removes the frustration of
using auto sync to view content.”
However, according to Zack Honig over at engadget.com, the Kingston
Wi-Drive is strictly a content server. Although it enables you to move
content off and transfer it back at a later time, it does not comes with
a backup tool and according to Kingston, you shouldn’t expect one in
the future either. In this case, if you want to copy or backup your ipod
stuffs, you can use other tool such as ipod to computer transfer which is an all-in one backup tool for us to copy or transfer music or songs from ipod to computer.
Users can connect their iPhone, iPod Touch or ipad to the Kingston
Wi-Drive – which serves as a Wi-FI access point – just like they would
with any other hotspot, and then access content via a dedicated ios app.
You can load the drive with photos, documents files and videos etc, by
using the mini-USB cable included.
Other technical specs are as follows:
• Compatible with: iPad, iPhone 3G/3GS/4, iPod touch (3G is limited to iOS 4.2.1+)
